Version 0.1 — August 4, 2026
Initial Caribbean draft. First version of the PCRA Caribbean Privacy Notice, drafted for legal review ahead of launch. There are no earlier versions.
Key points of the draft:
- PCRA Caribbean handles professional (business-to-business) contact data only — site staff and sponsor contacts. Member sites include hospitals, polyclinics, health centres, GP/family practices, private specialist clinics, physiotherapy clinics, diagnostics labs, dental clinics, pharmacies, and dedicated research units.
- No patient data is ever collected, stored, or processed.
- No sale of personal information; no sharing for advertising purposes.
- Essential cookies only.
- Hosting regions and cross-border transfer safeguards to be confirmed and documented before launch.
- Access, correction, and deletion requests via [PCRA Caribbean privacy contact email — to be confirmed], with a rights section covering the applicable laws of each participating country and territory — for example Jamaica's Data Protection Act 2020, Barbados' Data Protection Act 2019, Trinidad & Tobago's Data Protection Act, the Dominican Republic's Law 172-13, and the GDPR for EU territories such as Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Martin and French Guiana.
